On June 27, 2018, by a joint directive of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine and the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, the administration of the 103rd separate brigade of the Territorial Defense Forces was formed.
This was announced by the head of Lviv OVA Maksym Kozytskyi.
“With the beginning of a full-scale war, brave sons and daughters of Ukraine – of various professions, nationalities and statuses – formed ranks of brigades. Their only goal is to protect the state and drive away the enemy. Our compatriots prevented terrorists from entering the right bank of the Siverskyi Donets River, participated in the liberation of Ozerny during the counteroffensive of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in Kharkiv region, Dibrova and Yampil in Donetsk region were also returned to the Ukrainian flag. Every day, enemy equipment, ammunition depots, pontoon crossings, artillery systems and the occupiers themselves are wiped from the face of the Earth. We thank all the personnel of the brigade and its commander Valery Kurk. We are proud. We believe We support. We are waiting for victory!”, the head of the Lviv Oblast noted.
