Terrible news has once again arrived in Sokal region… Our community lost another Hero in the war, the marksman-assistant grenade launcher of military unit A4667, soldier Boris Stepan Ivanovich, born in 1980, a resident of the village of Svitazhiv.
Sad news was announced today in the Sokal City Council.
He was called up for military service on mobilization on July 18 of this year.
Defender Boris Stepan died on November 13, 2023, near the settlement of Klishchiivka, Bakhmut district, Donetsk region, during an enemy assault, having received life-threatening injuries. He was devoted to the Military Oath of loyalty to the Ukrainian people to the last, bravely performed his military duty in the fight for Ukraine, its freedom and independence.
Hero Stepan Boris is survived by his wife Oksana, three children – son Yuriy, born in 2005, daughter Alina, born in 2020, son Roman, born in 2022, mother Nadia Ivanivna. We express our sincere condolences on the death of the dearest son, husband, father. From now on, he will be 43 forever.
Let us always remember the highest price paid by our Defenders for the sake of our peaceful life.
