Vasyl Doroshenko died defending Ukraine. Vasyl belonged to many communities, was active in the public sector.

He joined Plast in 2014. He became a novice educator in Ivano-Frankivsk, and later joined the cadre of educators of the 109 kurenya named after Ya. Goroshka in Lviv.
He graduated from school in his native village of Tyazum. After that, he studied “Finance and Credit” at the Ivano-Frankivsk State College of Technology and Business, which he graduated in 2013.
Subsequently, he studied at the history faculty of the Ukrainian Catholic University.
Since the fall of 2021, he has been studying law by correspondence at the Lviv Polytechnic National University.
He was fond of traveling, hitchhiking and reading books.
Vasyl invested a lot of work in the NGO “Green Box”, where he was engaged in logistics, sales and public sorting. At the same time, he volunteered at Tarilka NGO.
Belonged to the Society of Reconstructionists “Order of Palladins” in Lviv.
Since 2021, he worked at the Terra Recycling enterprise, which was engaged in waste sorting.
With the beginning of the full-scale Russian invasion, he became a soldier of the 45th separate artillery brigade of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. And since February 2023, he fought as part of the third separate assault brigade.
He participated in the battles near Bakhmut, where he was wounded in May 2023. After rehabilitation, he returned to the army.
Died in battle on August 13. Our condolences to all of Vasyl’s family and friends. Sleep quietly, without worries…🕯️
