Roman Terekh, a defender from Chervonohrad, was awarded the Order “For Courage”

Hero Roman Terekh was awarded the Order for Courage of the Third Class (posthumously).

Staff Sergeant Roman Terekh was killed in Donetsk region on 27 August 2023, courageously performing his military duty in the battle for Ukraine, its freedom and independence.

The Hero’s Award was presented to the parents by Iryna Nalyvaiko, First Deputy Head of the Chervonohrad District Police Department, together with Petro Zhovnych, Deputy Head of the 7th Carpathian Border Guard Detachment, and Major Ihor Zhmida, Deputy Head of the Nismychi Border Guard Department.
