A 26-year-old IT worker from Chervonohrad died in Lviv during a rocket attack

Yuriy Baran worked in IT at a tire fitting shop in Lviv, which was hit by a rocket yesterday, April 18. He recently got engaged, and less than a month later he was to celebrate his 27th birthday.

This was reported in a telegram to the Buzhnet channel.

On April 18, at about 8:30 a.m., four rockets hit Lviv. These were air-based cruise missiles. According to preliminary information, they were released from the Caspian region. Three missiles hit a military infrastructure. One – on tire fitting. The first object is the warehouses that were not used.

This morning he and three of his colleagues decided to go for coffee before work. At approximately 8:30 a.m. local time, the garage was destroyed by at least one missile.

His parents, Anatoliy and Maria, tried to call him when they learned about the attacks on Lviv. They rushed to the place where the rocket hit and learned that he had died. Yuri was their only son.

“People can’t do such things. They are not people, they are barbaric invaders,” Anatoly said of the Russians.
