It is about the 45th separate artillery brigade of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
This brigade has been protecting Ukraine from the aggressor since the first days of the full-scale war, said the head of Lviv OVA Maksym Kozytskyi.
Units of the brigade took part in the defense of Kyiv, Kharkiv, Zaporizhzhia, Kryvyi Rih, in battles in Donbas and in the liberation of Kharkiv and Kherson regions.
A combat flag is a banner awarded to military formations for high professionalism, combat merits, courage and bravery of personnel. The President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyi handed the flags to our defenders.
“Dear warriors, we welcome you! Let these Battle Banners add strength to the speedy victory. We thank you! We are proud!”, – the head of the region.
At the same time, the Battle Flag was handed over to the 15th separate artillery intelligence brigade of the Ground Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. More details at the link.
The regional 103rd and 125th separate brigades of the Territorial Defense Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, which are currently performing tasks at the front lines, have already been awarded the combat banner.
