The author of famous songs, military serviceman Oleksandr Rozhko will be buried on March 30 in Lviv

Oleksandr Rozhko participated in four wars, but died due to illness. The serviceman will be buried on March 30 in Lviv, at the Sykhiv cemetery.

The serviceman went through four wars: in Afghanistan, Dagestan, Yugoslavia and Transnistria, and also took part in anti-terrorist operations. Died due to illness.

“On March 29, 2023, Oleksandr Rozhko, nicknamed “Jozhik”, passed away. He went through four wars. With him there was always a song that he created with his heart and soul. His “Don’t be sad”, “Indifference” and others were heard by the whole of Ukraine, because he performed them in front of military and civilians in countless concerts,” the message says.

He was also a participant in the #WarSongs project, in which he recorded a joint song with the leader of the ANTITILA band.

Parastas will be held today, March 29, at 7:00 p.m. on the street. Pekarska, 52. The funeral will take place tomorrow at 2:00 p.m. in the Garrison Church of Sts. App. Peter and Paul (Tetralna St., 11). Oleksandr Rozhko will be buried at the Sykhiv cemetery.
