“Shvidka” was handed over to the military unit where the fallen soldier served.
With such a noble deed, Ivan Stepanovych and Yaroslava Evgenivna Soltys from Sudova Vyshna decided to perpetuate the memory of their only son, Volodymyr Soltys, who did not live to reach his 35th birthday, and gave his life for the freedom and independence of Ukraine. A volunteer soldier died while performing a combat mission near Bakhmut in Donetsk region.
“I decided to buy a modern ambulance in order to save the lives of soldiers at the front,” said Volodymyr Soltys’ father.
The parents decided that the son would continue, even after death, to be an example for others and help his brothers at the front. The car is equipped with all modern medical equipment. A portrait of Volodymyr’s son is placed on the hood of the vehicle.
