Fighters of the 103rd Brigade of the Military Defense Forces received high awards from the command of the Armed Forces of Ukraine

On the occasion of the Independence Day of Ukraine, defenders serving in the 103rd Brigade of the Security Forces received awards from the Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Valery Zaluzhny.

The badge “For saving life” was awarded to a combat medic of one of the battalions of the brigade. Also, the “Silver Cross” and “Steel Cross” awards were given to the fighters of the brigade who distinguished themselves with heroism on the battlefield.

High combat awards were presented to the soldiers by the Deputy Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, Lieutenant General Yevhen Moysiuk.

“These awards are recognition of your merits, recognition of the feat of Ukrainian defenders who proudly bear the title of serviceman of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. This is evidence of a high fighting spirit and desire for victory. And I am sure that these qualities will allow not only to repulse the enemy’s attack, but also to return everything illegally captured by him!”, he noted.

Also, servicemen of the 103rd brigade for high professionalism in the performance of official duties in ensuring the implementation of measures for national security and defense, repelling and deterring armed aggression of the Russian Federation, for selfless actions shown in the protection of state sovereignty and territorial integrity of Ukraine received awards ” For success and loyalty.”

Brigadier General Serhiy Perets presented high awards to the defenders of the brigade.

“I thank you all for courageously repelling the enemy’s offensive on one of the hottest areas of the front. You prove to the whole world every day that Ukrainians are indomitable, that they will never bow their heads to an invader. We highly appreciate the daily feat of every Ukrainian who took up arms to protect their homes, their relatives, their Motherland!”, the brigadier general emphasized.

The commander of the 103rd brigade, Colonel Valery Kurko, highly appreciated the professionalism and fighting spirit of the brigade’s servicemen.

“I never get tired of repeating that every soldier of my brigade who defends the country here, on the front lines, is worthy of an award. I am proud to have the honor of commanding such people. Each such award is a testament to the courage, professionalism and self-sacrifice with which we meet the enemy and defend our land. We will definitely win. Ukrainian lands will be liberated and the Ukrainian flag will fly over the liberated cities and villages of Ukraine!” Commander Kurko noted.
