The community of Lviv handed over 100 drones to the military

100 drones, which were purchased with the funds of the Lviv community, are already helping our defenders to defend the country. And soon they plan to purchase and transfer another 2,000 drones for the Lviv brigades.

This was announced by the Mayor of Lviv, Andriy Sadovyi, while visiting the military on the front line.

“You drive through Kharkiv Oblast, Donetsk Oblast, and at every second checkpoint you are met by guys from Lviv. It was as if he had never left. The first 100 drones were handed over to our defenders. The plan for the fall is 2,000 drones for Lviv brigades, which we will purchase at the expense of the city community. This decision was taken together with the deputies of the city council. Yours for yours – for the sake of the future! A little later we will show the first results of the work. We have already been sent a video of some great flights. We visited our legendary fighters from the 80th DSHV, 103rd and 125th TRO brigades. The situation at the front is difficult. The boys and girls are in different locations, but they have been fighting since the beginning of the full-scale invasion,” Lviv Mayor Andriy Sadovyi said.

We will remind you that the city of Lviv is increasing expenses for the needs of military personnel – the purchase of drones, cars, as well as subsidies for military units. This decision was made today, September 27, at a meeting of the executive committee of the city council.

In general, the amount of support this year for the military (all city programs) will be UAH 2.1 billion from the city budget of Lviv.
