Lviv region is burning: rescuers responded to eight fires in open areas yesterday alone

How do you see our region? Unfortunately, firefighters often see it as it is in these photos – ravaged by fire, because the owner thinks that dead wood or stubble can simply be burned.

Over the past 24 hours alone, rescuers have responded to eight fires in open areas.
As a result, the fire destroyed more than 2,100 square metres of stubble, dry grass and shrubs, and all living things in these areas.

The fires were in Yavoriv district in the village of Shklo, Krakovets and Hrushev, in Chervonohrad district in the villages of Yastrubychi, Radekhiv and Chervonohrad, and in Zolochiv district in the villages of Dubyna and Buzhok.

Both fire brigades and local fire brigades were involved in extinguishing these fires. A total of 42 firefighters and 9 pieces of equipment were engaged.

Rescuers of Lviv region once again remind that burning stubble, garbage, dry grass and shrubs is prohibited.

❗️ Fires in ecosystems can have severe consequences, including uncontrolled spread of fire to residential buildings and nearby structures, destruction of fertile soil, death of animals, and, moreover, fire can take human lives.
