Lviv Region Pays Tribute to Fallen Ukrainian Defenders

Every day at 9:00 a.m., a moment of silence honors the memory of those who gave their lives defending Ukraine against Russian aggression. Today, Lviv Region bids farewell to three brave defenders who sacrificed their lives for the country’s freedom and independence.

🕯 Maksym Ibrahimov
Originally from Kherson, Maksym’s family was forced to leave their home and relocate to Lviv due to the full-scale invasion. Later, he joined the 300th Training Tank Regiment of the 169th Training Center named after Prince Yaroslav the Wise. Maksym carried out combat missions in the Donetsk region.

🕯 Andriy Panylyk
A resident of Pasiky-Zubrytski village in the Davydiv community of Lviv district. He served in military unit A 0998 and tragically lost his life on November 15, 2024, near the city of Chasiv Yar in the Donetsk region. Andriy was 54 years old.

🕯 Anatoliy Bilash
A native of Sokal in the Sheptytsky district, Anatoliy joined the Armed Forces of Ukraine in May 2024, serving as a rifleman in a motorized infantry unit. He actively participated in assaults and combat operations in the most intense zones of eastern Ukraine. Despite being wounded in July 2024, Anatoliy returned to duty after recovery and continued his service. Unfortunately, he fell in action near the village of Ivano-Dariivka in the Bakhmut district.

Eternal memory to all fallen heroes. Their sacrifice will forever be remembered by a grateful nation.
