“Malyuk”, a fighter with not at all “small” height, worked on the railway in civilian life.
Now – firmly holding a machine gun in his hands in the ranks of the 24th OMBr named after King Danylo.
Since February of this year, “Malyuk” is at the front. Having visited many of the hottest areas of our defense, in particular in the fortress city of Bakhmut, today he and his comrades hold back the enemy in the Horliv direction.
“The enemy fires from grenade launchers, mortars, and occasionally uses heavy artillery. They try to probe our positions by working in small groups, but we do not allow them to do this. Each of us here is keeping a watchful eye so as not to give the enemy a single chance,” says Malyuk.
“Sooner or later our victory will come. But having already passed a certain path, you look at and treat your previous life in a different way,” says Malyuk and plans to continue his service, further protecting the borders of our state.
At home, his wife and son are waiting for him, for whom he fights. To protect them so that they never see the horrors of war. This is the main motivation for Maluk.
