In February of this year, paratrooper officer Oleksandr Sozansky died in the battle near Bakhmut on the pseudo “Ragnar”. He was the battalion commander of the fire support company of the 80th brigade of the Armed Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
Oleksandr’s death shook his native Sambir Oblast, so people decided to support the family and transferred about a million hryvnias to his mother’s account.
“When the first funds for the card started pouring in, my heart pounded every time. You know, it’s very nice, but at the same time it’s very painful that I collect. But it will be a good memory of my son,” said the defender’s mother.
The funds were used to buy four drones equipped with thermal imagers with night vision optics.
