We will not spare the pressure on the enemy – both external and internal – address of the President of Ukraine

Addressing graduates of military academies, achievements on the diplomatic front, victories of Ukrainian defenders: Volodymyr Zelenskyi summarized the results of the past day.

“I had the honor to address the graduates of our military academies in Lviv and Odesa. To the young officers who will soon go to the active army. In combat brigades that fight for our state, and in new brigades that are being formed.

This is a special mission – to get a military education right now and know that tomorrow this education will be needed directly on the battlefield to protect the state, to manage soldiers and units.

I am happy that the higher military educational institutions of Ukraine do not have a shortage of those who really want to be a Ukrainian officer, want to be an educated and efficient Ukrainian officer. Who wants to make the story of the Ukrainian victory in this war his own life story.

I wished our young officers to be worthy of the heroism that our soldiers are already demonstrating on the battlefield now and that Ukrainians have always demonstrated in their struggle for freedom. I wished victory to the graduates of our military academies and I am sure that this victory will come,” Volodymyr Zelenskyi said.

The Head of State also focused on achievements on the diplomatic front.

“Today we continued our diplomatic marathon to strengthen Ukraine and protect international law, which gives our state more security. He spoke with four heads of state.

In a conversation with the President of Pakistan, they noted the absolute importance of maintaining full strength and respect for the UN Charter, the independence of nations and the integrity of states. We discussed our efforts to ensure food security and the existing threats to such security.

By the way, our export grain initiative has been working for seven months. During this time, 43 countries of the world received more than 22 million tons of food thanks to our sea exports. This is a significant Ukrainian contribution to global food security and stabilization of the global food market.

If it were not for this initiative of ours, then, unfortunately, processes of political and social chaos would be taking place in some countries of Africa and Asia, and the cost of living crisis experienced by various nations last year would be much more severe. But if this initiative of ours worked at full capacity, if Russia did not try to slow it down, we would be able to export more food products. That is, there would be significantly more food security guarantees in the world. Our partners know exactly which deliberate actions of Russia are undermining food security. We are working to provide the necessary stability.

We must understand: this is not only a contribution to global security. Our marine food exports benefit Ukraine. About a million Ukrainians work in industries related to agricultural production. And for them, the fact that we unblocked sea exports last year is a guarantee of personal and family social security.

I spoke today with the President of Estonia. He thanked for the constant support of Ukraine at all levels. This is support both with weapons and sanctions against Russia, and political support, particularly in European and Euro-Atlantic structures. Today we discussed the upcoming NATO summit in Vilnius and our expectations in the context of the integration of Ukraine. We are already preparing for these future events.

We also had the first conversation with the President of Uganda in the history of bilateral relations. He informed about our peace initiatives that we are promoting at the UN site, about our principled position regarding the protection of international law. The potential of bilateral cooperation was discussed.

Already in the evening I spoke with the Prime Minister of Great Britain. We are working very hard together with Britain to strengthen our soldiers, to bring our joint victory closer, to implement our defense agreements that were reached during my visit to London. And it would be great if all our partners understood as well as Britain how the speed of defense supply affects concrete successes on the battlefield.

We also discussed important political issues that we have to resolve already this week.

The second half of the week will be even more active in terms of international relations. We are maintaining the diplomatic pace,” the President of Ukraine said.

Volodymyr Zelenskyi also focused on the formation of the “Offensive Guard” and further sanctions.

As always, during the day I received reports from our military, leaders of the defense and security sectors. In particular, today the Minister of Internal Affairs Ihor Klymenko reported on the formation of new “Offensive Guard” brigades. The results are good.

Held several preparatory meetings in the context of further sanctioning steps of our state. We will not let up the pressure on the enemy – both external and internal. I will let you know the details.

The head of state honored Ukrainian defenders.

“Of course, during the day I was in contact with the commanders, with our intelligence.

Today I would like to celebrate the soldiers of the 15th National Guard Regiment, who are defending the Luhansk region and not only defending our positions, but also destroying the enemy in such a way that they really limit the offensive capabilities of the occupier on
