The war with Russian occupants has brought pain to our hearts again…
We are deeply saddened to inform you that on 9 June 2024, a resident of the Radekhiv community, a rifleman of the 2nd Ranger Division of the 2nd Ranger Platoon of the 1st Ranger Company of the 1st Ranger Battalion, a soldier, a resident of the village of Tetevchytsi, Stepan Deyneka, born on 2 October 1971, died while performing a combat mission in the Donetsk region.
Until 30 January 2025, the Defender was reported missing, but DNA testing confirmed his death.
Radekhiv City Council expresses its sincere condolences to the family, friends and colleagues of our Warrior. His courage and devotion to Ukraine will forever remain in our hearts.
The time and place of the funeral will be announced later.
