Yaroslav MOTAK, a defender, is returning to his native land on a shield.
The war took the life of the Hero on January 24, 2024 in Donetsk region. Yaroslav was 45 years old.
The sad news was announced today by the Novoyavoriv City Council.
We express our sincere condolences to the family and friends of the fallen Hero.
Motak Yaroslav Nestorovych was born on June 14, 1978 in the city of Przemyslany. He lived in the village of Pisochna, Stryi district, Lviv region.
After graduating from high school he studied at the Peremyshlyany Professional Lyceum № 61.
In 2015-2016 he participated in the ATO. And since 2017 he lived in the village Muzhylovychi, Yavoriv district. He worked at the Kormotech enterprise.
In August 2023, he was called to defend Ukraine.
Yaroslav is survived by his mother Kateryna, father Nestor, wife Zenovia, son Danylo and brother Vasyl.

The funeral service will be held at 11:00 am in the Church of the Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary, Pisochna village, Stryi district, Lviv region.
