Andriy Desyatnik, a miner at the face of the mine’s treatment unit, has passed away.
The soldier was killed on 5 October while performing a combat mission near the village of Vidrodzhenivske, Kharkiv Oblast.
The sad news was reported by Lvivvuhillya:
“The administration of Lvivvuhillya, the Lviv territorial organisation of the Trade Union of Coal Industry Workers of Ukraine, the Regional Association of the Independent Trade Union of Miners of Ukraine in Chervonohrad, the labour collective and trade union organisations of the Vidrodzhennia mine, and the entire mining community of Prybuzhzhya deeply mourn the death of the soldier. We express our sincere condolences to the family and friends on the irreparable loss! We bow our heads in prayer for the repose of his soul.

Andrii Petrovych Desyatnyk was born on 16 September 1979.
He has worked at the Vidrodzhennia mine of Lvivvuhillya since 2018, as a longwall miner at the coal mining site. He joined the Armed Forces of Ukraine to defend the state in 2022. His family and friends are in mourning.
