It is with deep sadness that we announce that on December 30, 2023, Heroi Vatsik Serhii Yaroslavovych, born in 1972, a resident of Sokal, died during a combat mission at combat positions in the Luhansk region, near the village of Novoyehorivka.
Sad news was announced today in the Sokal City Council.
Served as a gunner-operator of the 2nd reconnaissance department of the 1st reconnaissance platoon, served with dignity in the defense of Ukraine from the occupier.
We express our sincere condolences to the defender’s mother, Hanna Myronivna, and to all relatives and friends.
