Lviv Region Bids Farewell to Three Ukrainian Defenders: Their Stories

Every day at 9:00 a.m., Ukraine observes a minute of silence to honor the memory of those who gave their lives defending the nation against Russian aggression.

Today, the Lviv region says goodbye to three heroes who sacrificed their lives for Ukraine:

🕯️ Myroslav Napyralo
Born in Ostriv village in the Lviv region, he moved several times throughout his life, living in Lviv, Mariupol, and Rivne. This spring, he voluntarily joined the Armed Forces of Ukraine. He served in the 225th Separate Assault Battalion, performing combat missions in the Kharkiv and Kursk regions. He died on December 10, just days before his 43rd birthday.

🕯️ Oleksandr Volotovskyi
A native of Dzhankoi in the Autonomous Republic of Crimea. At the start of the full-scale invasion, he joined the defense of Ukraine. He served in the 80th Separate Air Assault Brigade of the Galicia region. He died on August 29 from wounds sustained in combat with the enemy. He was 36 years old.
