A meeting was held with the families of the 80th separate amphibious assault brigade in Lviv region

The present families of the Defenders received individual counseling and clarification on personal issues.

During the meeting at the Western Regional Center of the Coordination Headquarters on the Treatment of Prisoners of War, representatives of the Coordination Headquarters, the military unit, the National Police of Ukraine and the Office of the Commissioner of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine for Human Rights answered the questions of the relatives.

During the meeting, the issue of communication between families and military units was raised. According to the representative of the unit, an extract from the unit commander’s order regarding the investigation into the disappearance of a serviceman is being sent to the territorial center of recruitment and social support (TCC and SP). The employees of the TCC and the SP inform the relatives of the missing Defense Minister of the relevant information.

The representative of the Headquarters emphasized that only a part of our prisoners has been confirmed by the Russian side, but Ukraine is working to return everyone: both those who are considered missing and those who have not been confirmed by the Russian Federation. The meeting also discussed cooperation with international organizations, in particular, with the International Committee of the Red Cross, improving the communication process of National Police investigators with the families of Defenders.

At the end of the meeting, all families of the Defenders received individual counseling and clarification on personal issues.
