In the Stryi region, a memorial plaque was unveiled in memory of the fallen defender Fedir Bondarchuk. On the eve, the memorial was installed on the facade of the Lyskiv Gymnasium of the Zhuravne community, where the Hero studied. Relatives and friends of the warrior, representatives of the government and the clergy, and residents of the community participated in the opening and consecration.

Originally from the village of Zarichne in the Zhuravne community. He lived with his family in the village of Podorozhne. In January 2023, he took up arms to defend Ukraine. He was a driver in the 3rd Air Assault Battalion. He died on October 9, 2023, while carrying out a combat mission near the settlement of Verbove in the Zaporizhzhia region. He was 35 years old.
