Unfortunately, we are again reporting a loss. Bohdan Senyuk died defending Ukraine. The sad news was reported in Plast – Ukrainian scouting
Joined Plast in April 2012. He was a member of the “Templar” group of 13 kurenya named after Oleksy Dovbusha in Ternopil, took part in many actions and trips, including “Heroes’ Trails” and “Plastuna Day”.
He was born in Ivano-Frankivsk, and later the family moved to Ternopil. Received higher education at Lviv University named after I.Franka majoring in history and archaeology. He specialized in the period of the Middle Ages.
He defended his bachelor’s degree in the city of Severodonetsk, when he was already in the army.
Belonged to the NGO “Tradition and Order”. He was a supporter of the ideas of Ukrainian nationalism.
With the beginning of the full-scale Russian invasion, he voluntarily volunteered for the army. He was a machine gunner in the “Revansh” tactical group and participated in battles for the Kyiv region. Subsequently, he fought in almost all hot spots, in particular in Bakhmut, Severodonetsk, Kherson region. He received a slight contusion in the battles.
In October 2022, he transferred to another special unit.
On March 13, 2023, he was awarded an award for combat merits from the main intelligence department of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine.
Died on August 6 while performing a combat mission on the left bank of the Dnieper. The circumstances and the exact place of death are being clarified.
Bohdan is forever 22 years old. Let’s continue to fight for him. Sleep well my friend…
