He was born in the village of Dashava, studied at a local school, later at the Lviv College named after I. Bosko at the culinary faculty. In 2020, he was called up for military service and in October 2021 he participated in the anti-terrorist operation in the east of Ukraine. He tried to defend his native land with a full-scale invasion.
He studied in France and was the head of the “Caesar” artillery installation. Heroically died while performing a combat mission in the Zaporizhzhia region.
The hero is forever 20 years old. He is survived by his parents and sister. Ivan Drozd’s father is also a member of the anti-terrorist operation and the modern war, who was seriously wounded last year.
