The police officers of the Lviv region honored the memory of their colleague Taras Dorosh, who died in the anti-terrorist operation zone eight years ago

Today, January 14, fighters of the Lviv battalion took part in the memorial service for their fallen comrade, police sergeant Taras Dorosh.

The policemen, together with the relatives and friends of the fallen Hero, lit lamps and laid flowers at his grave.

Taras Dorosh was one of the first to voluntarily join the Lviv special police patrol battalion. As part of the unit, he was assigned to serve in the ATO area in the Luhansk region, where on January 14, 2015, he was killed by an enemy sniper’s bullet while performing a combat mission. He was 27 years old.

Police Sergeant Taras Dorosh was posthumously awarded the Order of Courage III degree.
