In his daily evening briefing on June 18, President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy praised the work of the 47th OMBr “Magura”. Military personnel of this brigade actively destroy the enemy on the battlefield with the help of drones. By the way, the brigade received a significant part of the drones from the Kozytskyi Charitable Fund within the framework of the Viy project.

Drones can carry both armor-piercing and high-explosive projectiles, that is, they can be used both against enemy manpower and armored vehicles. They fly at a speed of 120 kilometers per hour, so it is very difficult to knock them down.
“Drones are transferred to special units, because this technique is quite specific, so it is necessary not only to undergo training, but also to feel how it works in real conditions. Such equipment is the eyes of fighters on the front lines, because they can track the movement of enemy personnel, as well as effectively hit manpower with precise strikes. Those units that have already received drones will be able to receive new ones if they provide video confirmation that they have successfully used the previous ones,” Maksym Kozytskyi, head of Lviv OVA, noted earlier.

Within the framework of the “Viy” project, the production of drones is financed, as well as the training of operators, and the devices are transferred at the request of military formations that perform missions in the most difficult directions.
