The Radehiv community is deeply saddened to announce that on January 4, 2025, during a fierce battle for Ukraine’s freedom and independence in Donetsk region, their fellow resident, Dmytro Petrovych Havrysh, passed away. He was a resident of Kryve village and served as a rifleman-assistant grenadier in a motorized infantry battalion.
Dmytro Petrovych was born on June 27, 1972. Defending his homeland, he bravely fulfilled his military duty to the very end.
The community is called to join in honoring the memory of the Hero. Tomorrow, January 9, 2025, at 10:30 AM, the Defender’s body will be welcomed in the town of Radehiv. Residents are urged to gather near the Heavenly Hundred Memorial and line up along Lvivska Street to the Symbolic Grave of Fighters for Ukraine’s Freedom (at the intersection of Obizna and Lvivska Streets) to form a living corridor in tribute to the Warrior.
The funeral will take place after the body is received in the Hero’s home village, Kryve.
