“Phoenix” is the commander of the medical company. For more than 15 months, together with the fighters of the 103rd Terrodefense Brigade, he has been in the combat zone.
The doctor has 30 years of medical experience. He worked as a neurologist, rehabilitation specialist. He had experience in the psychological rehabilitation of ATO participants. In his daily work, he focuses on the standards of European countries, and not on the Soviet approach.
“I think all medics feel anxiety and fear during war, but our sense of justice is stronger. Our thoughts for our relatives are stronger than any fear. This is our motivation. Every day we acquire new knowledge and improve. We pay great attention to the evacuation of our wounded soldiers. Unfortunately, the worst moments remain in the memory when we tried to save our soldiers, but could not. These memories are now with us forever,” said “Phoenix”.
From June 1, a medical company was formed in the 103rd brigade of the TRO Forces. Recruitment is ongoing.
“We are provided with medicines. Volunteers and commanders help. I advise civilian medics who are hesitant to join the medical forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine to come to us as volunteers at the front lines, at least for a few days. Get to know the team, see the working conditions. It is difficult for us and we have been working hard for 15 months, so we need people,” the commander of the medical brigade shared.
