11 more memorial plaques to be installed in Lviv

The Executive Committee of the Lviv City Council approved the installation of 11 more memorial plaques in memory of Ukrainian defenders.

They will be placed in the educational institutions of the city where the soldiers studied.

According to experts from the Department of Architecture and Urbanism of the Lviv City Council, the plaques will be installed in accordance with the universal model of a memorial plaque approved in Lviv to commemorate the defenders who died in the Russian-Ukrainian war.

Memorial plaques will be installed in the city:

– Andrii Hudyma, Bohdan Kozak, Volodymyr Tuchapskyi – Secondary school No. 27 in Lviv. Lviv named after the Heavenly Hundred hero Yuriy Verbytskyi;

– Yuriy Dovhanik – Lyceum No. 38 of the Lviv City Council;

– Orest Kostetskyi – Secondary school No. 9 in Lviv. Lviv;

– Vasyl Lavryniv, Andriy Sorokin – Secondary school of I-III degrees No. 20 in Lviv. Lviv;

– Oleksandr Simakov – Secondary school No. 99 in Lviv. Lviv;

– Roman Skalskyi, Yaroslav Fitel – Secondary school No. 82;

– Bohdan-Mykhailo Khomyk – Secondary school of I-III degrees № 29 in Lviv. Lviv.

As a reminder, Lviv has a special procedure for installing memorial plaques to the defenders of Ukraine. The plaque can be placed on the educational institution where the soldier studied or on the house where he lived.
