Recently, the Drohobych community received sorrowful news from the frontline – 34-year-old Taras Kondur was killed while defending Ukraine.
On August 10, the body of the fallen hero arrived in his native community.
Taras Kondur was born on September 8, 1989 in the village of Hrushev. After his marriage, he lived in Nove Selo.
Taras was mobilized and came to the defense of Ukraine in the spring of 2022. He was a member of the 67th Battalion of the 103rd Brigade of the Tank Corps at the front lines.
The soldier died in a battle with the enemy on August 7, 2024 near the village of Daryino, Kursk region.
The deceased soldier is survived by his wife, two children, parents, two brothers and a sister.
The funeral service will be held today, August 11, at 14.00 in the Church of St. George in Novoye Selo.
The fallen soldier will be buried at the cemetery in Novoye Selo.
