Let’s be ready to welcome the warrior on the shield with dignity: today our fellow countryman, defender of Ukraine Andrii Shnitsar returns home for the last time.
Estimated arrival time of the funeral cortege at Haydamakiv Square – at 1:30 p.m. Then the cortege with the Hero’s body will head to Halychany, the warrior’s native village.
The funeral will take place tomorrow, October 17.
Andriy fought on one of the hot areas of the front in the Kharkiv region. He died on October 12, 2023, while performing a combat mission to protect the independence of Ukraine.
Our Hero is survived by his parents, two brothers – the younger one is also now defending Ukraine.
