Today, Lviv said goodbye to two Heroes

Today, December 15, Lviv said goodbye to Heroes Andrii Koval and Andrii Lamonin, who died in the battle with the Russian invaders.

The soldiers were buried at the Lychakiv cemetery.

Biographical references of Heroes

 

Andrii Koval (14.10.1988-03.12.2022). A native of the village of Pleshevichi, Lviv region.

 

He studied at the Husakiv educational complex “universal educational institution of I-III degrees – preschool educational institution”. Graduated from the Faculty of Law of the Interregional Academy of Personnel Management.

In peacetime, he worked in the construction industry. He was fond of cooking, fishing and football.

Soldier. With the beginning of the full-scale invasion of the Russian Federation, he served as a senior gunner of the 2nd division of the 2nd platoon of the 2nd company of the 1st airborne battalion of the 81st separate airborne brigade of the Airborne Assault Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

Andrii Koval is survived by his mother, wife, daughter and brother.

 

Andriy Lamonin (11.12.1973-02.12.2022). A native of Lviv.

 

Studied at Lviv Special Secondary School No. 102.

In 2014-2017, he performed combat missions in the area of the Anti-Terrorist Operation as part of the 24th separate assault battalion “Aidar” of the 53rd separate mechanized brigade named after Prince Volodymyr Monomakh of the operational command “East” of the Ground Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

Senior soldier. With the beginning of a full-scale invasion of the Russian Federation, he came to the defense of the Motherland. He fought against the invaders as part of the 68th separate hunting brigade of the Reserve Corps of the Ground Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

Andrii Lamonin is survived by his mother, sister, two nephews and uncle.
