Today Lviv region says goodbye to four defenders
Mykhailo Bornatovskyi
A resident of the village of Butyny, Velykomostiv community, Chervonohrad district.
He was a senior soldier, a rifleman of an infantry battalion. He was called up for military service on 24 March, 2022.
He died near the village Hrodivka, Pokrovsky district, Donetsk region.
Bohdan Viytovych
A resident of the village Kudyryavtsi, Zolochiv district. He was called up for military service during mobilisation on 27 April 2024. He was a soldier of the 82nd separate airborne assault brigade of the Bukovyna.
He died on 18 September 2024 while performing a combat mission near the village of Obukhivka, Korenivka district, Kursk region. The defender was 37 years old.
Ivan Mykhalchuk
Born in Mariupol, Donetsk region. He entered the Zhukovsky National Aerospace University “Kharkiv Aviation Institute”, where he graduated with a degree in aircraft and helicopters.
With the beginning of the full-scale invasion of the Russian Federation, he joined the 25th separate airborne brigade of Sicheslav.
Vasyl Boev
A native of the village of Sosnove, Donetsk region.
In 2020, he moved to the Rivne region with his family, where he worked at a bakery. In 2023, he moved to Lviv. Here, he joined the ranks of the 3rd Border Guard Detachment named after the Hero of Ukraine, Colonel Yevhen Pikus. He performed combat missions in the Donetsk region.
