Today Lviv region says goodbye to four defenders
Andriy Karplyuk
A resident of Lviv.
From the first days of the full-scale invasion of the Russian Federation, he voluntarily joined the 710th Separate Security Brigade to defend the state. During his service, he was promoted to the rank of senior lieutenant. The Hero died on 1 October.
Serhii Hranovskyi
A resident of Lviv.
With the beginning of the full-scale invasion of the Russian Federation, he stood up to defend the state from the Russian invaders. He performed combat missions in the ranks of the 28th separate mechanised brigade named after the Knights of the Winter Campaign. He fought against the occupier in Donetsk region. The defender died on 27 September.
Yosyp Nikolyshyn
A resident of the village of Tukholka, Kozivska Hromada.
He died on 28 September 2024. The warrior was 42 years old.
Ihor Romaniuk
A resident of Mostyska community in Yavoriv district. He was an inspector of the Border Guard Service, served in the military unit 9937. He died on 27 September 2024 in a medical facility in the village of Chemerivtsi, Khmelnytskyi region, as a result of an attack.

Vasyl Brozhyna
A resident of Rudky. He died on 27 September near the village of Vovchenka in Donetsk region while performing a combat mission. The warrior was 55 years old.
