Ivan Lazar

A native of Seredkevychi village, Lviv region. With the beginning of the full-scale invasion, he joined the ranks of the 100th separate mechanised brigade and performed combat missions in the eastern direction. The soldier died on 30 September.

Volodymyr Burak

Volodymyr Burak

A resident of Lviv.

With the beginning of the full-scale invasion, he joined the 80th separate airborne assault brigade of Galicia. The Hero died on 30 September.

Oleksiy Ostapchuk

Oleksii Ostapchuk

A native of the village of Vynohradove, Kherson region.

After graduation, he joined the military. He was codenamed “Cyborg” and performed combat missions in the anti-terrorist operation zone since 2014.

After leaving the service, Oleksiy Ostapchuk moved to Lviv.

From the first days of the full-scale invasion of the Russian Federation, he volunteered to defend the capital. He performed combat missions in the Kharkiv, Zaporizhzhia and Donetsk areas as part of the 128th separate mountain assault brigade of Transcarpathia, and more recently – the 3rd separate assault brigade. For personal heroism in the performance of combat missions, he was awarded numerous decorations. The Hero died on 14 August.

Volodymyr Zakala

Volodymyr Zakala

A native of the village of Bobroydy in the Dobrosynsko-Magerivska community of Lviv district. The warrior defended Ukraine from the enemy from the first days of the full-scale invasion. He died on 26 March 2022 in the city of Popasna, Luhansk region. He was 28 years old.
