Nazar Parashchak

Born in Boryslav. He joined the Armed Forces of Ukraine in March 2023. He fought as a member of the 71st separate ranger air assault brigade. He died on 22 November 2023 near the village of Robotyne, Zaporizhzhia. He was considered missing for a long time.

Andriy Yaskiv

Andriy Yaskiv

A native of Zhovkva, Lviv district, he lived with his family in Boryslav. He served in the military unit A7123. He died on 17 November during a combat mission near the village of Godunivka, Sumy region.

Andrii Pashkur

Andrii Pashkur

A resident of Zhvyrka, Sokal community.

He joined the Armed Forces of Ukraine in May 2024. He served in the air assault company of the military unit A2582. He died in the Kursk region of Russia on 19 November.

Markiyan Morozevych (“Samurai”, “Strelok”) A Lviv resident.

Markiyan Morozevych (“Samurai”, “Strelok”) (23.01.1998-08.03.2022) A resident of Lviv.

In July 2015, he joined the 8th Aratta Battalion and performed combat missions in the anti-terrorist operation zone. He was awarded a number of state decorations for his brave service.

In 2017, he entered the Hetman Petro Sahaidachnyi National Army Academy to study at the Faculty of Combat Use of Forces, which he successfully completed in the summer of 2021, receiving the rank of lieutenant.

Since July 2021, he has been performing combat missions in the Luhansk region in the ranks of the 24th Separate Mechanised Brigade named after King Danylo.

Even before the start of the full-scale invasion, he applied innovative technical solutions, organised a remote battlefield surveillance system, designed and used a remote-controlled bullet system, which his soldiers successfully used at the front.

According to the Decree of the President of Ukraine of 8 May 2022, he was awarded the Order of Bohdan Khmelnytskyi, III degree (posthumously).
