Every day at 9:00 a.m., Ukraine honors the bright memory of those who gave their lives for the freedom and independence of the nation. Today, Lviv Region bids farewell to four soldiers who perished due to Russian aggression.
🕯 Oleh Klymchuk
A resident of Ralivka, Sambir District. Oleh served as a rifleman in the security division of the Berehove District Recruitment and Social Support Center. He passed away on January 15, 2025.
🕯 Victor Rusetskyi
Born and raised in the Boryslav community. Victor joined Ukraine’s defense forces in April 2022, serving in the 703rd Separate Support Brigade. He died on January 14, 2025, near the village of Kotlynne, Pokrovskyi District, Donetsk Region.
🕯 Volodymyr Petrovskiy
A resident of Yavoriv, originally from Novoselivka, Kirovohrad Region. He graduated from the Odesa Institute of Ground Forces and served in the 24th Separate Mechanized Brigade named after King Danylo. In March 2022, he rejoined the Territorial Defense Forces and later continued his service in Kyiv. He died on January 15, 2025, during a combat mission in the Kharkiv Region.
🕯 Bohdan Babyuk
A resident of the Dobrotvir community, Sheptytskyi District. Bohdan was a gunner in an airborne assault platoon within military unit A1910. He was killed on January 14, 2025, near the village of Pohrebky, Sudzhansky District, Kursk Region, Russia.
