Today Lviv region says goodbye to its defenders
🕯️ Mykola Kuntsiv
A resident of the Boryslav community.
In the first days of the full-scale invasion, he stood up to defend Ukraine. He served in the 14th separate mechanised brigade. He had the call sign ‘Pastor’.
Since the spring of 2023, Mykola had been missing. Recently, it became known that the soldier died in May 2023 as a result of enemy shelling during a combat mission near the village of Lyman, Kharkiv region.
🕯️ Oleh Bobeliak
Born in the village of Khyshevychi, Velykolyubinska community, he lived in Horodok, Lviv district. He was a senior soldier, a senior operator of the company’s department of anti-tank military complexes of the military unit A0284.
He died on 23 February on the northern defence line. He was 36 years old.
🕯️ Vasyl Vysotskyi
A resident of the village of Yastrubychi, Radekhiv community.
He was a rifleman-assistant to a grenade launcher of a hunting battalion. He had the rank of senior soldier in the military unit 4056. He died on 20 May 2024 during a combat mission in Donetsk region.
Until 25 February 2025, he was considered missing, but his death was confirmed through DNA testing.
🕯️ Volodymyr Pasemko
Originally from the village of Verchany, Stryi community. He joined the Armed Forces in May 2024. He was a sapper in an engineering platoon of a military unit. He died in a battle in Donetsk region. The warrior was 28 years old.
