Today Lviv region says goodbye to five defenders
Volodymyr Herych
A resident of the village of Obroshyne, Lviv district. After completing his military service in Vinnytsia, he signed a contract. With the beginning of the full-scale invasion of Russia, he performed combat missions in the ranks of the 31st separate mechanised brigade. He fought against the invaders in the Donetsk and Zaporizhzhia directions. He was 22 years old. He died on 16 October.
Vitalii Protsailo
Originally from Sheptytske. He joined the Armed Forces in March 2022. Before that, he worked as a miner. He was a soldier of the reconnaissance sapper unit of the military unit A3425. He died on 11 October during a combat mission in the Kursk region.
Viktor Oleksyn
He was born from the village Ivano-Frankove. He lived in the village of Pidhirya, Ivano-Frankivsk region.
He served in the police platoon of the KORD special police battalion (rifle) of the Lviv regional police. He was a senior police sergeant. He performed a combat mission in the city of Toretsk, Donetsk region. He died on 17 October as a result of enemy artillery shelling. He was 36 years old.
Viktor Neumoin
A resident of Novyi Rozdil. During the full-scale war, he served in the military unit A7074. He held the position of a service number in a fire support company. The soldier died on 14 October near the village of Timiryazevka, Sumy region. He was 52 years old.
Maksym Koksharov
He lived in the village of Ditkivtsi. He served as a sniper in the second mechanised division. He died on 30 October 2023 during a combat mission near the village of Stepove, Donetsk region. The warrior is forever 39.
