Today Lviv region says goodbye to its defenders
Volodymyr Krachkovskyi
A resident of the town of Kamianka-Buzka. From the first days of the full-scale invasion, he volunteered to join the Armed Forces of Ukraine. He served as a member of the Rarog combat unmanned aerial vehicle unit of the 24th Brigade. He died on 25 October after prolonged treatment for an injury sustained during a mission in the war zone. The soldier was 36 years old.
Mykola Poliuhanych
A native of the village of Zalokot. On 5 March, 2022, he came to the defence of the state. He was a senior sergeant. He died on 2 May 2022, during a firefight near Popasna, Luhansk region. He had been missing since then. He was 47 years old.
Volodymyr Savka
A resident of the village of Ivano-Frankove. In May this year, the man joined the Armed Forces of Ukraine. He served in the airborne assault troops, military unit A2582, where he was promoted to junior sergeant. On 12 September, while performing a combat mission in the Kursk direction, he was seriously wounded. He died on 25 October, despite prolonged treatment. He was 48 years old.
Yurii Krytsak
A resident of the village of Varyazh. On 1 March, 2023, he voluntarily enlisted for contract service. He fought in the military unit A4728. He died on 17 October. He was 46 years old.
Bohdan Taraban
A native of the village of Hrushev. He was a warehouse manager in the 24th separate mechanised brigade named after King Danylo. He died on 25 October. The soldier was 55 years old.
