Lviv region says goodbye to its defenders today
🕯️Віктор Kalinin
Originally from the village of Stanylia, Truskavets community, Drohobych district. He held the position of the driver of the ammunition supply unit of the 1st self-propelled artillery platoon of the military unit A4674. He died on 5 May near the village of Dorozhne, Pokrovsk district, Donetsk region. He was 52 years old.
🕯️ Oleksandr Koshelev
Born in Drohobych. Voluntarily came to the defence of Ukraine. He was the line supervisor of the communication and control department of the mortar platoon of the military unit A0222. He died on 6 May near the village of Zelene Pole, Donetsk region. The soldier was 40 years old.
🕯️ Ivan Tymchyshyn
Originally from Stryi, he lived in Zhydachiv. He was a rifleman of the service number of the 2nd Ranger Battalion of the military unit A4056. He died on 26 April near the village of Novoukrainka, Pokrovsk district, Donetsk region. The soldier was 46 years old.
🕯️ Ihor Komanyak
A resident of the village of Ranevychi, Drohobych district. At the end of June 2024, he came to the defence of Ukraine. He was seriously injured on 25 October 2024. Afterwards, he was rehabilitated, and on 1 May he came home on leave. He died of pneumonia. He was 43 years old.
🕯️ Dmytro Garasym
A resident of Zhovkva. He has been defending Ukraine since 2023. In the summer of 2024, he was demobilised for health reasons. He died on 12 May. He was 39 years old.
