Every day at 9:00 a.m., we observe a minute of silence in memory of all those who died, who gave their lives for Ukraine due to Russian aggression.

Today, Lviv Oblast says goodbye to defenders:

🕯️ Oleksandr Suknevich

A native of Lviv.

After completing his studies, he served in the military in Yavorov and Rivne, but was later discharged due to his health.

With the beginning of the invasion of the Russian Federation, he joined the ranks of the 42nd separate mechanized brigade of the operational command “West” of the Ground Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine to defend the Motherland from the Russian invaders. Performed combat missions in the eastern direction.

Oleksandr Suknevych is survived by his grandparents, parents, two brothers, an aunt, a cousin and a nephew

🕯️ Ivan Kachor

Originally from the city of Sambir. He was a marksman-paramedic of the mountain-assault department of the mountain-assault platoon of the mountain-assault company of military unit A3892. Died on December 26, 2023 in the Bakhmut district of the Donetsk region while performing a combat mission.

🕯️ Andriy Mudryk

A resident of the city of Sambora. Deputy commander of the air mobile battalion of military unit A4355, who participated in combat operations since 2016.

🕯️ Ihor Tsybanyak

A resident of the village of Berezhnytsia, Ralivska hromada. He was an assistant shooter of a grenade launcher. Died on January 1, 2024 near Bohdanivka settlement, Donetsk region.

🕯️ Ivan Levko

A resident of the village of Porechia, Yavoriv district.

He died on October 1 in the area of the settlement of Biloghirka, Kherson region, while performing a combat mission.

Until now, the defender was considered missing, but after the identification procedure, his death was established.
