Today Lviv region says goodbye to its defenders
🕯️Олег Gilzhynskyi
A resident of Drohobych. From the beginning of the full-scale Russian offensive, he joined the Territorial Defence Forces. He took part in the de-occupation of the Kyiv region. Later, Oleh joined the 47th Separate Mechanised Brigade “Magura”. The warrior died on 27 February 2024 while performing a combat mission near the village of Berdychi, Donetsk region. He was 25 years old.
🕯️Вʼячеслав Degtyar
A native of Kryvyi Rih. During 2014-2015, he performed combat missions in the anti-terrorist operation area as part of the 28th separate mechanised brigade named after the Knights of the Winter Campaign of the operational command “South” of the Land Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. With the beginning of the full-scale invasion, he stood up to defend his homeland in the ranks of the 36th separate marine brigade named after Rear Admiral Mykhailo Bilynskyi of the Ukrainian Navy. The defender died on 8 March 2022.
🕯️Богдан Ivanchyshyn
A resident of Zapytov in the Novoyarichivska community. During the full-scale war, he was the commander of the 1st airmobile division of the 1st airmobile platoon of the 2nd airmobile company of the military unit A0641. The soldier died during a combat mission on 26 February 2024 near the village of Bilohorivka, Luhansk region.
🕯️Андрій Stopchanskyi
A defender from the village of Silets, Chervonohrad community. During the Russian full-scale offensive, he served in the military unit A7075. He died on 27 February 2024 in the Kharkiv region. He was 25 years old.
🕯️Роман Bilyi
A resident of the village of Poltva, Zolochiv district. He was a sniper of the 2nd mechanised division of the 3rd mechanised platoon of the 3rd mechanised company of the military unit A0243. The soldier died on 25 February, 2024, during a combat mission near the village Lastochkino, Donetsk region.
🕯️Ігор Guzhenko
A defender from the village of Krasne, Zolochiv district. During the full-scale war, he was the head of the financial and economic service of the military unit A4821. The soldier died on 27 February 2024 in the city of Kharkiv.
