Today Lviv region says goodbye to its defenders
🕯️ Lubomyr Lysko
A resident of the village of Zabuzhzhia, Kamianka-Buzka community. He defended the country as a member of the 5th separate assault brigade of Kyiv. He died on 23 March. He was 43 years old.
🕯️ Andriy Zhuk
He lived in the village of Velykyi Doroshiv, Kulykivka community. He was the junior sergeant of the military unit A0998. He died on 31 March during a combat mission near the village of Stinky, Donetsk region. The soldier was 48 years old.
🕯️ Yuriy Skrut
A resident of Lviv. After the start of the full-scale invasion, he voluntarily came to the defence of Ukraine, joining the 79th separate airborne assault brigade of the Tauride. After being seriously wounded near Maryinka, he continued to fight the invaders in the Kharkiv region as part of the 3rd separate assault brigade. He was repeatedly honoured by the military command. He died on 30 March. The soldier was 30 years old.
🕯️ Andriy Makar
A resident of the village of Borodchytsi, Khodoriv community. He was a senior mechanic-driver of a mechanised battalion. He died on 18 September 2024 while performing a combat mission in Donetsk region. The warrior was 53 years old.
🕯️ Mykola Kret
A native of the village of Styborivka, Zolochiv district. He performed the duties of a grenade launcher of the airmobile unit of the military unit A4355. He was considered missing. He died on 22 September 2024 near the village of Bohoyavlenka, Donetsk region. He was 48 years old.
🕯️Ігор Whistler
A resident of the village of Zhvyrka, Sokal community. He joined the Armed Forces of Ukraine in February 2023. He served in the military unit A4047. He died on 20 March near the village of Chasiv Yar, Bakhmut district, Donetsk region. He was 50 years old.
