Lviv region says goodbye to three defenders today

Every day at 9 a.m., we observe a minute of silence in memory of all those who died for Ukraine because of Russian aggression.

Today Lviv region says goodbye to its defenders:

🕯 Taras Reshetivskyi

Taras Reshetivskyi (08.03.1975-05.05.2024) A Lviv resident.

A Lviv resident.

With the beginning of the full-scale invasion, he joined the 1st Border Guard Detachment of the State Border Guard Service of Ukraine. He performed tasks in the eastern direction.

Igor Demchenko

He is originally from Yavoriv. In 2019, he did his military service and later signed a contract with the National Guard of Ukraine. During the full-scale invasion, the defender already took part in hostilities. He managed to get out of Mariupol alive. He joined the Azov Sea Fleet. He died on 6 May 2024 while performing a combat mission in the Sievierodonetsk district. The defender was 27 years old.

🕯️ Mikhail Lyashkevich

Mikhail Lyashkevich

He came from Chervonohrad. He served in the military unit A0998. He died on 8 May 2024 in the Donetsk region. He was 32 years old.
