Today Lviv region says goodbye to three defenders
Ihor Semeniuk
A resident of the village of Yosypivka, Zolochiv district. He was called up for military service on 25 February 2022. He defended Ukraine in the ranks of the 103rd separate brigade of territorial defence named after Metropolitan Andriy Sheptytskyi of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, performed the duties of a rifleman. He died during a combat mission near the village of Lyman Pershyi, Kupiansk district, Kharkiv region. He had been missing since 25 May 2023. The defender was 48 years old.
Ivan Herb’yak
He was born and lived in the village of Svydnyk in the Skhidnytsia community. After the start of the full-scale invasion, he joined the defence of his homeland. He was killed on 13 October in the Pokrovske direction of Donetsk region, he was only 26 years old.
Vitaliy Blendey
A resident of the village of Busovysko, Strilkivska community. He was a junior sergeant, commander of the rifle division of the rifle company.
Vitaliy served in the 116th separate mechanised brigade. He died on 9 October near the village of Synkivka, Kupiansk district, Kharkiv region.
