Today Lviv region says goodbye to three defenders
Oleg Golko
A resident of the village of Rychky Rava-Ruska, Lviv district.
Oleh was a rifleman and medic of the mountain assault company of the military unit A 1778
He died on 18 November 2024 near the village of Rivne, Donetsk region, during a combat mission.
The warrior was 33 years old.
Ivan Soltys
A resident of Lviv.
With the beginning of the full-scale invasion of Russia, he stood up to defend his homeland. He defended Ukraine in the Kharkiv sector, where he was seriously wounded, as a member of the 125th separate brigade.
He was twice awarded the “Cross of the Territorial Defence Forces” and other decorations from the command. The soldier died on 19 November.
Volodymyr Pelekh
A resident of the Sheptytska community.
A soldier, a rifleman of the assault specialised unit of the military unit A0281. He died on 14 November during a combat mission in the Kursk region of the Russian Federation. He was 31 years old.
