Today Lviv region says goodbye to three defenders
Stepan Kiyak
A resident of the village of Velyka Linina, Starosambir community.
Senior sergeant, commander of the third division of the anti-tank platoon of the military unit A4026. He died on 10 April, 2024, near the village of Novomykhailivka, Donetsk region, as a result of a combat mission. The warrior was 53 years old.
Viktor Chyzhyk
A native of Boryslav.
He joined the Armed Forces of Ukraine in September 2023, serving in the 24th separate mechanised brigade named after King Danylo. In April 2024, he was injured. After treatment in hospital, he stayed at home. He died on 22 November. He was 31 years old.
Andrii Zhydyk
A resident of the village of Boyanets. Senior soldier of the military unit A0998, senior operator of the second platoon of anti-tank missile systems. He died on 19 November in the village of Chasiv Yar, Donetsk region, during a combat mission. He was 49 years old.
