Every day at 9:00 a.m., we observe a moment of silence in memory of all the dead who gave their lives for Ukraine due to Russian aggression.

Today, Lviv Oblast says goodbye to defenders:

🕯️ Orest Ivanevich

A native of Lviv. From the beginning of the full-scale invasion, Orest voluntarily took part in the defense of the Motherland as part of the 125th separate brigade of the Russian Federation. Defended the territories of Sumy, Kharkiv and Donetsk regions. For courage and loyalty, he was awarded the “War Veteran” badge and the “Honor and Glory” cross. The defender died on January 7, 2024. He was 39 years old. The soldier is survived by his wife, son and brother.

🕯️Nazar Duda

A native of Lviv. At the beginning of the full-scale war, he joined the ranks of the 13th separate amphibious assault battalion named after the Hero of Ukraine Colonel Taras Senyuk of the 95th separate amphibious assault brigade of the Polish Brigade. The defender died on January 4, 2024. He was 45 years old. Nazar is survived by his parents, wife and son.

🕯️ Volodymyr Nosal

A resident of the city of Radekhiv. Served in military unit A1008. The defender died on January 10, 2024 while performing a combat mission in the Kharkiv region. He was 49 years old.
