Today Lviv region says goodbye to eight defenders
Rostyslav Furdas
A resident of the village of Konopnytsia, Obroshynska community, Lviv district. He defended the state as a member of the 3rd separate assault brigade. He was reported missing since 6 October 2024. He was performing combat missions near the village of Nelipivtsi, Donetsk region. The warrior was 25 years old.
Serhii Nevyniak
A resident of the village Nova Skvaryava, Zhovkva community. He was a soldier of the 80th separate airborne assault Galician brigade of the Air Assault Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
He died on 22 October during a combat mission in the Kursk region. He was 38 years old.
Stepan Koliada (Yarotskyi)
A resident of the village of Stoyaniv, Radekhiv community. He was the commander of the ground robotic complexes unit of the fire support company, senior sergeant. He died on 15 May 2024 in the Donetsk region.
Until 22 October 2024, he was reported missing.
Ruslan Shtokalo
A native of Kryvyi Rih, Dnipro region. He performed combat missions in the anti-terrorist operation/Joint Forces operation area. With the beginning of the full-scale invasion of Russia, he joined the 24th King Danylo Brigade. He died on 26 March 2022.
Andrii Protsailo
A resident of Lviv.
With the beginning of the full-scale invasion, he defended his homeland as part of the 47th Separate Mechanised Brigade “Magura” of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. Despite being wounded, he returned to the front to his comrades.
The soldier died on 20 October.
Andrii Mazur
A resident of Lviv.
From the first days of the full-scale invasion of the Russian Federation, he joined the ranks of the 5th Border Guard Detachment of the Eastern Regional Directorate of the State Border Guard Service of Ukraine to defend the state from the occupiers.
He was killed on 22 October.
Andrii Boitsun
A resident of the village of Ponykovytsia, Zolochiv district. The warrior held the position of cook of the economic department of the support platoon of the anti-aircraft missile and artillery battalion of the military unit. He died suddenly on 23 October near the village of Radkivka, Sumy region, during his service due to a cardiac arrest. The defender was 51 years old.
Volodymyr Tseliukh
A resident of the village of Voyutychi, Sambir community. He was a private, a refuelling driver of the automotive department of the supply platoon of the pontoon-bridge battalion of the military unit A-3817. The soldier’s life ended in the Zhytomyr region on 23 October.
